Not so long ago, several insiders and even players bashed the Houston Texans for the way the organization was being run.
They seemed to be out of sorts and with no clear direction, but that’s definitely not the case now.
Football aside, the team is taking the right steps to become a world-class organization.
As such, they had a very classy gesture in the press box, as shown by beat writer John McClain on Twitter.

For their preseason home opener vs. the New York Giants, they reserved three seats for Fred Faour, Ken Hoffman, and Mark Lane, all of whom died this year.
Those three journalists used to cover the team for years, and it was a classy way to honor them and thank them for all the hard work they put in to make sure the fans got an inside scoop of what was going on within the organization.
The Texans have come a long way in no time.
With young studs like C.J. Stroud on one side of the field and Will Anderson Jr. on the other, they should be all set and have two building blocks to put talent around for years to come.
It’s crazy to think how different things were for this team just a couple of seasons ago.
This should be inspiring to other struggling franchises, showing that it is possible to turn things around overnight when you get the right people to do their jobs.
Props to the organization for such a classy gesture.
