Yao Ming may not have played in the NBA in over ten years but he is still highly regarded by current players.

He is so well-respected, in fact, that he has convinced multiple stars to head overseas to play in a charity game.

According to Courtside Buzz, Paul George, James Harden, and Jimmy Butler will all participate in a basketball game in Hong Kong on Tuesday organized by Ming.

Those are three of the biggest names in the NBA, proving that Ming is still considered one of the largest and most important basketball stars of the last 20 years.

He was drafted in 2002 as the first overall pick by the Houston Rockets.

He spent eight seasons in the league, averaging 19 points and 9.2 rebounds for the Rockets.

The seven-foot-six big man ultimately left the league in 2010-11 after injuries slowed him down.

Since retiring from the NBA, Ming has remained involved in the world of basketball, particularly overseas in his home country of China.

This charity game is on behalf of Ming’s charity, which works with Chinese youth through sports and gives them access to a better life.

George, Harden, and Butler have millions of international fans so they will surely be celebrated with a warm welcome in Hong Kong.

They all have their work cut out for them in the new season and surely have busy schedules so the fact they have made time for this game shows how much it means to them.

Fans in Hong Kong are in for a real treat with this charity match, all thanks to the star power and love of Ming.
