Jason Kelce Reveals Story Of When He Punched Travis In The Face

If getting one son to make it to the National Football League is difficult, picture how tough it is to get two.

More than that, what are the odds of having two future Hall of Famers and Super Bowl champions in the same family?

Not many households can brag about that honor, and it certainly didn’t always seem that way for the Kelces.

Both Jason and Travis worked their way up and eventually became some of the best — if not the best — to ever do it at their positions.

However, long before that, they were just regular brothers.

Recently, Jason shared a story of how he punched Travis in the face when they were young and how quickly things escalated.

In his appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast, he revealed that, one day, Travis was beating him easily playing basketball, so he resorted to fouling him to stop him.

Travis got mad at him and threw the ball at him and then went into the house.

Jason walked into the house and punched him in the face, and Travis, who usually just cried, wasn’t having it that time, so he grabbed him, lifted him up, and slammed him onto the kitchen floor so violently that the oven actually moved.

Perhaps that’s when the Kelces realized that their boys were strong enough to be football stars.

Whatever the case, it’s nice to know that they were just boys being boys and eventually sorted things out, as they’ve grown to be very close and the league’s favorite brother duo since Peyton and Eli Manning.
