Jamal Crawford spent 20 years in the NBA and earned many accolades, including three Sixth Man of the Year awards.

He retired a few years ago but remains close to the association.

And now it looks like his son might be lining up for an NBA career of his own.

A video shared by Courtside Buzz on X features 14-year-old J.J. Crawford on the court, moving with skill and ease and putting up some impressive shots.

Are we about to witness the second generation of Crawfords in the league?

J.J.’s father got his start in the NBA in 2000 after being selected as the eighth pick in the draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He never did play for the Cavaliers, but did amazing work for the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Phoenix Suns.

He retired in 2019-20 but still gives his opinions about the league and is on television often.

Crawford was a well-respected star, a terrific role player who would step up and do just about anything for his teams.

He was one of those athletes who was naturally talented regardless of who he played for.

Therefore, it’s not surprising to see his son also doing so well on the court.

There are a number of NBA kids on the rise right now, most notably Bronny James, son of LeBron.

Over the next few years, we should expect to see even more NBA offspring make their way into the league.

J.J. Crawford won’t be the only one following in his father’s footsteps.
