Ever since he was selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, superstar linebacker TJ Watt has taken the league by storm by quickly becoming one of the best defensive players in the league while also being the new face of the storied franchise.
Watt has been a one-man wrecking crew in Pittsburgh as he strikes fear in the hearts of opposing quarterbacks with his no-nonsense approach and a motor that makes him a scary sight for every offensive coordinator in the league.
Even though the Steelers have struggled to make the best of Watt’s prime years in Pittsburgh as the team has flamed out early in the NFL playoffs year after year, he has still stood out as an elite linebacker and someone that young players model their games after while trying to get to the professional level.
As Watt prepares for another season with the Steelers franchise, he and his wife made an announcement on Instagram that they are expecting a new member of the family in February.
Although his focus is on the football field while trying to make the Steelers a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC under legendary head coach Mike Tomlin, the Watt household will be busy over the next few months as they prepare for the arrival of their first child.
Fortunately for Watt, the baby won’t be coming until the season ends, but hopefully, for his sake, the due date doesn’t land on the same day as the Super Bowl if the Steelers can make it that far this season.
