Baltimore Ravens running back Justise Hill signed a two-year contract extension with the team on Friday.

The Ravens did not disclose financial terms, but NFL Network reported the funding is worth $6 million.

Hill, 26, was scheduled to become a free agent after this season. In two games this season, he has five carries for 25 yards and eight receptions on 10 targets for 62 yards.

“Justice has become a really good football player,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “That’s probably one of the shining examples of being ready to work every day, being ready to go to work every day and being at your best.”

Hill played more offensive snaps (78) than starter Derrick Henry (67), the All-Pro running back who signed with Baltimore as a free agent in March.

“I just come to work every day. I don't pay too much attention to (the contract),” Hill said in an interview with “The Athletic.” “…I'm Raven, man. This is where I want to be. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.”

The Ravens selected Hill in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State University.

Hill contributed on special teams over his first four seasons, appearing in 61 games (five starts) and rushing for 959 yards and five touchdowns on 208 attempts. He also caught 61 passes for 416 yards and one score.
