There are nine 0-2 NFL teams entering the game on Sunday, and the Baltimore Ravens are one of them. Someone might want to remind Lamar Jackson.

Over the past four seasons, only two (32 teams) have made the NFL playoffs after losing their first two games. Yes, the Ravens can't afford another setback on the road against the Dallas Cowboys.

The WNBA playoffs are about to begin, and Caitlin Clark's appearance in the nationally televised game is stunning. The Indiana Fever's game against the Connecticut Sun is one of four playoff games on Sunday.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) playoffs are in full swing. The two top teams in the National League East (the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets) concluded a four-game series.

Let’s break down this delicious smorgasbord of competition.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys

Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, must figure out how to convert yards into points. The Ravens lead the NFL in total offense (417.5 yards per game) but rank just 14th in scoring offense, averaging 21.5 points per game.

Of course, there's plenty of blame to be spread. Losing to the Kansas City Chiefs on the road is one thing, but watching Gardner Minshew lead the visiting Las Vegas Raiders to defeat themselves after trailing by 10 points in the fourth quarter was truly heartwarming. Awkward.

The game against the Cowboys is almost a must-win, and Dallas won't come back from being beaten 44-19 at home by the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Dak Prescott recently signed the largest contract in NFL history, worth an average of $60 million per season. His interception totals (two) so far match his touchdowns. The Cowboys are just 1-5 all-time against the Ravens, and that trend will continue.

Phillies vs. New York Mets

The Phillies will make their second trip to the National League East when they visit the Mets. Hotter than Lava catcher Francisco Alvarez added a two-run double, his fifth in his past nine games, as New York won 6-3 on Saturday. A home run.

The Mets are two games ahead of the Atlanta Braves for the final wild-card spot. They also finished one game behind the Arizona Diamondbacks for second place. New York is quickly becoming the team no one wants to face in the playoffs.

Phillies right-hander Zach Wheeler may have something to say on Sunday. this Cy Young Award candidate makes four straight starts The ERA during the stretch was 1.38. New York right-hander Tylor Megill has also been solid, going 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA in his past four starts.

The Mets are 5-1 since losing star Francisco Lindor (back). This is a good sign. No matter how well Wheeler pitches, expect New York to win late in the game or in overtime.

Indiana Fever from the Connecticut Sun

The Suns are 3-1 against the Pacers this season, with two of those wins coming by 21 points and 17 points. UConn also played highly physical ball against Clark, especially early in the season when two of her first four career games came against the Suns.

Connecticut star Alyssa Thomas sent Clark flying with a pick during one game, and nasty DiJonai Carrington verbally addressed Clark in addition to chasing him around the floor attack. Carrington's father, Darren, played eight seasons in the NFL, so perhaps there will be a nasty tackle in this best-of-three series.

The third-seeded Suns have more talent and playoff experience than the upstart Fever, who are making the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Lose in the 2022 WNBA Finals.

The first two games were played at the Suns' home court, and the Fever needed to win a game to set up a series-deciding game at home. One thing we all know about Clark is that she's even better in the big games. You can count on her to make shots from all over the court.
