The Dallas Cowboys are in some trouble to start the 2024 season.

After defeating the Cleveland Browns rather easily in Week 1, they got blown out by the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 and lost to the Baltimore Ravens, who came in with an 0-2 record, on Sunday.

To top it off, they are banged up.

Seven of their players were listed on their injury report on Monday, most notably star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, cornerback Trevon Diggs and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence.

Lamb recently got a huge contract extension, but his play so far this season has been a bit underwhelming.

While he has a decent 218 receiving yards, he has just one touchdown and a poor 54.2 percent catch rate through three games.

There has been a sizable burden on Diggs to hold down the secondary with DaRon Bland, Dallas’ other starting corner, recovering from a stress fracture in his foot.

Diggs has a foot injury himself, but he, as well as Lamb, was a full participant in practice.

Lawrence, meanwhile, was a limited participant due to a shoulder ailment.

The Cowboys have a short rest period before their next game, but luckily, that next game is against a relatively weak opponent in the New York Giants.

They will then visit the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5 and host the Detroit Lions in Week 6, and after their bye week, they will visit the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 27, so they will need to get healthier pretty quickly in order to get back on track.
