Kevin Garnett Sees Superstar NBA Potential In College Player

Few people are better equipped to judge young basketball prospects than Kevin Garnett.

After all, he was once a basketball prodigy being noticed by the league.

Garnett is currently very impressed by up-and-coming player Cooper Flagg, who is just entering college.

According to Legion Hoops, Garnett said the teen could someday be a superstar.

“We ain’t had no bad a–, cold a– white boy like this in a long time,” Garnett said.

Garnett isn’t the only person blown away by the Duke freshman, who is surely going to be picked high in the NBA draft.

He has been riding a massive wave of hype, especially lately.

Earlier this summer, Flagg played in practice games with Team USA before they headed out to Paris to participate in the Olympics.

Flagg battled it out against icons like LeBron James, Devin Booker, Steph Curry, and more – and he held his own.

That was just the latest sign that he’s an NBA star of the future.

Flagg could easily be a top pick in the draft, but it all depends on how his season with Dukes goes.

Most people expect him to keep playing as he has been and that will result in him being the No. 1 overall pick.

But the expectations are high and the pressure is immense.

If that all gets to Flagg and he doesn’t deliver, he might slip in the standings.

However, Garnett and many others don’t think that will happen.

They have seen what Flagg is capable of and expect a lot more from him in the months ahead.
