Bryan Woo pitched five scoreless innings as the Seattle Mariners defeated the visiting Oakland Athletics 2-0 on Friday night.

Mitch Garver and Cal Raleigh homered for the Mariners (83-77), who were eliminated from the American League wild-card round on a bye a day earlier.

The Athletics (69-91) are wrapping up the regular season on the road after playing their final game Thursday afternoon at the Coliseum. The team is expected to play the next three seasons in Sacramento, Calif., while their new stadium in Las Vegas is under construction.
