Kevin O’Connell and the Minnesota Vikings are on a roll right now.

The team’s offense has been one of the best in the league, with Sam Darnold looking like a superstar in the first four weeks of the season.

The Vikings’ offense has been explosive and electric, and they haven’t needed a lot of time to put up points on the scoreboard.

That’s even more evident with a stat pointed out by NFL writer Mike Clay on X.

Thus far, the Vikings have been ahead on the scoreboard on 85% of their offensive snaps, which is a league-best.

Only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come close at 62%.

Clay also pointed out that the Vikings have been either up on the scoreboard or tied in all but five plays, which is 98% of the sample size.

The Vikings weren’t expected to be this good this season, especially given their quarterback situation.

Of course, plenty of this also has to do with the other side of the field, as Brian Flores’ defense has made sure to keep opposing offenses off the field more often than not.

Against all odds, the Vikings are sitting on a perfect 4-0 record and atop the NFC North Division.

Darnold is playing the best football of his career, and this is yet another testament to how crucial coaching can be in making or breaking a quarterback.

They have a date with the New York Jets in London up next, and while it won’t be easy, they could keep their undefeated streak going for at least another week.
