Jared Goff Made NFL History On Monday

Not so long ago, NFL fans, talking heads, and even some players counted Jared Goff out.

Fast forward to today, and he’s now one of the ten best quarterbacks in the league.

That’s what being in the right system can do for a player, as he had shown glimpses of great play but had lost his confidence.

Goff just got a big contract after leading the Detroit Lions to the NFC Championship Game, and he picked things up where left off from last season.

During Monday night’s impressive win over the Seattle Seahawks, the former No. 1 pick set a new record for the most completions without a miss in a game, going 18-for-18 (via Field Yates).

Goff threw for 292 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a passer rating of 155.8.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, he also caught a seven-yard pass from WR Amon-Ra St. Brown for another score.

The Lions’ offense marched down the field with ease, totaling 389 yards and only punting three times without even turning the ball over.

They’re now sitting on a 3-1 record and they look like a serious threat to come out of the NFC.

As for Goff, he continues to thrive under offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, and even though he has four interceptions on the season and his TD numbers are down because of his proficient running game, no one is sleeping on him anymore.
