SRINAGAR: A dead body was recovered late last night from a nalla at Pahloo Brein, in the Nishat area of Srinagar, officials said.
An official said that the dead body was recovered late last night from a nalla at Pahloo Brein, Nishat.
He said the youth had been missing since September 28, 2024, while his family filed a missing person report at Nishat Police Station on October 1, 2024.
“The body was discovered late at night by local authorities, who immediately rushed to the scene.
The body was later shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for legal formalities and further investigation,” he said.
Meanwhile, the deceased has been identified as Roman Nazir, a 22-year-old resident of Danpora Brein, Nishat. Police have launched an inquiry to determine the cause of death.(NVI).
