The Los Angeles Clippers announced Wednesday that guard Terrence Mann has signed a contract extension.

The Clippers did not disclose financial terms, but multiple outlets reported it was a three-year, $47 million extension.

“We greatly value the competitiveness, consistency, durability and hard work that T. Mann has demonstrated year after year,” Clippers President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank said.

“Since we drafted him in 2019, T-Man has transformed himself into the ultimate glue guy, a two-way player who can take on tough assignments and make clutch shots. When we think about the qualities that make a young player a Clippers player We often feel like we've profiled T Mann and we're delighted that he will remain an important part of our game.

Mann will once again team up with Kawhi Leonard (currently nursing a knee ailment) and James Harden, although the Clippers' other star from last season, Paul George, left in July and signed with the Philadelphia 76ers A free agent agreement. The core player led Los Angeles to a 51-31 record last season and a first-round playoff loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

The 27-year-old Mann averaged 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 75 games (71 starts) last season, while shooting 51.5% from the field.

He has been with the Clippers for five years since they drafted him out of Florida State in the second round of the 2019 draft. In 345 career games (156 starts), Mann averaged 8.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
