In 2021, 2022 and 2023, the nation and the rest of the world dealt with a steep case of inflation, and although inflation in the United States is now back to normal levels, the prices of many items, especially food, remain elevated.
It has put a strain on many people, especially sports fans who want to buy tickets to see their favorite team play in person while enjoying food and drink there.
But recently, a number of retailers have lowered their prices, and this action has spread to the NBA, as the Utah Jazz have announced they will be selling concessions at slashed prices this season, per Evan Sidery.

The prices that Jazz fans will have to pay to enjoy food and drink will almost seem like a flashback to the days when Hall of Famers Karl Malone and John Stockton made the team into perennial contenders in the 1990s and early 2000s.
It’s a good thing, because the Jazz are unlikely to reach the play-in tournament this season.
Despite a few young and intriguing players, they went 31-51 last season, and they’re clearly building for five to 10 years from now.
They do have one legitimately All-Star caliber player in Lauri Markkanen, a seven-foot power forward/center who averaged 23.2 points and 8.2 rebounds a game last season.
Utah is also hopeful about center Walker Kessler, a 23-year-old going into his third season who has shown promise as a rebounder and shot-blocker.
