New York Giants standout rookie wide receiver Malik Nabors remains in the “early stages” of concussion treatment and missed Wednesday's practice.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said the team is practicing daily with Nabors, who has been the team's top offensive weapon through four games. He must complete five phases of the protocol before he can play Sunday when the Giants (1-3) visit the Seattle Seahawks (3-1).

Giants running back Devin Singletary (groin) also missed practice.

Nabors was injured in last Thursday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

In East Rutherford, N.J., New York faced a fourth-and-6 at the 39-yard line and trailed 20-15 with 3 1/2 minutes remaining when quarterback Daniel Jones rolled to his left. , found Nabors on the left sideline of Dallas Stadium.

Nabors fell out of bounds as he tried to complete the catch and keep his foot in bounds, but he couldn't catch the ball. As he fell, his head hit the mask on the ground first. He stayed on the ground for a few minutes before heading to the blue medical tent. Shortly after, he was ruled out of the game with a concussion.

The sixth overall pick out of LSU in this year's draft, Nabors has a league-high 35 catches for 386 yards and three scores in four games so far.

Singletary's status on Sunday was also in question. He rushed 56 times for 221 yards and two touchdowns in four games. The Giants have gone six straight quarters without scoring a touchdown.

Giants cornerbacks Drew Phillips (calf) and Adore Jackson (calf) also missed practice because they missed the Cowboys game. Neither practiced last week. Daboll said “progress has been made” on both.
