Boston College starting quarterback Thomas Castellanos will play this weekend against the University of Virginia, ESPN and the Boston Globe reported Thursday.
Castellanos missed last week's game against Western Kentucky due to an undisclosed injury. Boston College came back to win 21-20 to improve their record to 4-1.
Castellanos has been outstanding in the first four games, passing for 729 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 112 yards and one rushing touchdown. This is his second season at Boston College after starting his college career at the University of Central Florida.
Grayson James started at quarterback for the Eagles against Western Kentucky University and guided two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help the team escape a 20-7 deficit.
