Michael Irvin Believes 1 NFL Coach Will Be Fired After Playoff Loss

Today is a tough day for the Dallas Cowboys and their fans all over the world.

The Cowboys were supposed to have at least two home games in the playoffs, yet they couldn’t get past a Green Bay Packers team that barely reached the postseason.

Not only that, but they were dominated from the very beginning, allowing a whopping 48 points and looking overwhelmed from start to finish.

That’s why franchise legend Michael Irvin believes it’s just time to call it a day and put an end to the Mike McCarthy era.

Talking on Undisputed, the legendary wide receiver stated that he just doesn’t see how McCarthy and his coaching staff can sell hope for the future after the way they were beaten on Sunday night.

“You can’t sell hope with this intact. I want Bill Belichick’s discipline with an innovative offensive-minded coach,” Irvin said.

He thinks the team cannot and should not get rid of all their players; that’s just not realistic.

So, he would rather see a different coaching staff looking to get the most out of this current nucleus of players.

Then, he campaigned for Bill Belichick to take the reins of the team.

Belichick’s name has been tied to the Cowboys for the past couple of days.

Then again, it’s hard to envision Jerry Jones giving up control, not even for Bill Belichick.

Whatever the case, something has to change in Arlington; they just can’t hope to get different results by doing the same thing over and over.
