After the Green Bay Packers traded superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets during the NFL offseason, the pressure was immediately on for young quarterback Jordan Love to fill the shoes of the four-time NFL MVP and follow in his footsteps.

Early on, things didn’t look good for Love as he struggled as the new face of the franchise in Green Bay, with five losses in their first seven games, which resulted in a lot of people writing this team off and no one showing much support for Love.

However, Love and company bounced back with a vengeance after such a poor start to the 2023 campaign, as the Packers went on to win seven of their final 10 games and, as a result, clinch a playoff berth in the NFC.

With the Packers going on an impressive run to finish the regular season, the team secured the seventh seed in the conference, setting up a first-round playoff matchup with the Dallas Cowboys on the road.

Even though the Packers were heavy underdogs, Green Bay dominated Dallas on their home field, with Love having the game of his life, which Nick Wright of FOX Sports believes is the best playoff game by a Packers quarterback in nearly a decade, via “First Things First.”

Even though that might be a bold statement and a stretch, as Chris Broussard said, Love did have an incredible performance against one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Love threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns, completing 16 of the 21 passes thrown against the Cowboys.
