A stranger slugged a 65-year-old man – knocking him off his feet – in a broad-daylight Queens attack, police said.
The shades-wearing menace approached the victim at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Union Street in Flushing around 9:45 a.m. Friday, cops said.
He then struck the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground and suffer minor injuries, cops said.
He was taken to New York- Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect – who fled on foot – is described as a man with a medium complexion. In addition to the sunglasses, he was last seen wearing a black hat, an orange hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white sneakers.
No arrests have been made, cops said.
