The Golden State Warriors have had one of the most epic runs in NBA history.

The team was the most dominant in the league for the better part of a decade, but all things eventually come to an end.

That’s why former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins believes the time is up for the Warriors’ dynasty.

Perkins explained that the Warriors hadn’t beaten LeBron James without Kevin Durant since 2015, stating that he’s got them figured out and that they won’t stand a chance against him and the Los Angeles Lakers as long as he and Anthony Davis continue to play at an elite level.

Moreover, Perkins claimed that every other team in the Western Conference would continue to get better, so the Warriors would have a tougher field against them.

Perkins also said that there are a lot of ‘ifs’ with the Warriors’ future.

They still don’t know whether Bob Myers will stay as General Manager, not to mention the fact that they reportedly want Klay Thompson to take a pay cut.

Perkins stated that there’s no reason why Thompson should take a pay cut, citing that multiple teams around the league would be more than willing to pay him what he’s worth, even if he struggled in the postseason.

The Warriors reportedly still have faith in their championship core, and Stephen Curry was as spectacular and productive as he’s always been.

But, as Perkins said, all things eventually come to an end, and the Warriors’ dynasty could be looking at theirs.
