The Dallas Cowboys have gone through another tumultuous offseason.

Despite being a dominant team during the 2023 regular season, the Cowboys faltered in the first round of the playoffs, something that has become all too common for their fans.

For whatever reason, they’ve struggled to gain traction in the postseason, which has caused fans and analysts to question what’s next for the organization.

Dak Prescott’s name often comes up in these conversations, as some believe he is a reason for their problems.

Others, like James Jones, believe that Prescott is on his way out the door, which would cause the Cowboys to go back to the drawing board at the position, starting in 2025.

As Jones said in a recent segment of ‘Speak’ on FS1, “This will be Dak Prescott’s last year in a Dallas Cowboys uniform.”

Jones added on to this, saying, “He’s tired of Jerry. He’s tired of all the blame going on him.”

No matter how well Prescott plays, at the end of the day, quarterbacks are typically targeted as a primary reason for a team’s loss.

The pressure is much more significant in Dallas than it is in other cities, as the fanbase expects nothing but greatness for this team with a rich history of winning.

Until they win another Super Bowl, playing quarterback for the Cowboys might be a difficult job.

Jones believes Prescott wants to get out of this system, and with the Cowboys not signing him to a new contract yet, this could become a reality if they’re not careful.
