The Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic are playing with a chip on their shoulders.

Jokic is coming off one of the most spectacular seasons in NBA history, yet some still doubted his status as a legit superstar.

Notably, the big man is silencing his doubters one by one every time he sets foot on the floor in the postseason, and he might have had his greatest performance just yet.

Jokic dominated an elite defender like Anthony Davis at will, scoring 10 out of 13 field goals when guarded by him and averaging 1.53 points per possession.

That’s why Jay Williams believes he’s making great strides to being considered the best player in the world.

And even though Williams thinks he’s not there quite yet, he admits Jokic is getting closer and closer by the day.

Jokic’s offensive skill set is perfect; it’s like something out of a video game.

You cannot double him because of his unmatched passing skills and size, and you cannot guard him straight up because he can overpower you and take you all the way to the rim.

If you decide to drop, then he can pull up and knock down a shot from beyond the arc; there’s just no actual counter for his skill set.

People have criticized him for his lack of success in the playoffs, but this is the first time that he’s had a fully healthy and deep supporting cast, and he’s proven what he’s capable of when that happens.

He’s one of the best ever already, and it’s time we enjoy his game instead of trying to take him down.
