Colin Cowherd Believes The Bills Won’t Miss 1 Player

Perhaps the biggest move of the offseason in the NFL was the Buffalo Bills trading away All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.

Diggs helped Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen and Co. win four consecutive AFC East titles.

The former Maryland star made four straight Pro Bowls after coming over from the Minnesota Vikings in 2020.

However, Fox Sports’s Colin Cowherd doesn’t think Buffalo will miss Diggs despite his production.

“Brady post-Moss stacked trophies…It should not make an impact,” Cowherd recently said on The Herd.

Diggs is one of the best wide receivers in the league, and that cannot be disputed.

He has recorded six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and four consecutive seasons with 100 or more receptions.

Without him, it is unlikely that the Bills become real contenders in the AFC over the last few seasons.

However, as great as Diggs was, Allen became an even better performer.

He is the only quarterback in the history of the NFL to put up 40+ scrimmage touchdowns in four consecutive seasons.

The former first-round pick is one of the most complete players in the league.

Losing Diggs, as well as deep threat Gabe Davis, might hurt a little bit in the beginning.

However, this is an offense that still has a Pro Bowl running back in James Cook and a Pro Bowl tight end in Dawson Knox.

GM Brandon Beane also went out and signed multiple free-agent receivers such as Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Mack Hollins.

He also drafted Florida State receiver Keon Coleman in the second round of this year’s draft.

Allen has plenty of weapons on offense and given his skill set, Buffalo’s offense should still be in good shape without Diggs.
