SRINAGAR: A CRPF officer was killed in a militant attack in the Ramnagar area of Udhampur district on Monday.
Quoting sources, GNS reported that the incident occurred during routine patrolling by a joint police and CRPF party in the Cheel area of Ramnagar. Militants opened indiscriminate fire, resulting in the death of CRPF Inspector Kuldeep Singh.
The area has been cordoned off, and a massive search operation has been launched to track down the attackers. Additional reinforcements have been dispatched to the scene, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the militants responsible for the attack—(GNS)
