A stranger randomly attacked a subway rider on a Manhattan train — plunging a “Rambo-style” knife into his chest, cops and sources said.

The victim, a 39-year-old man, was sitting on board a northbound No. 1 train approaching the 191st Street station in Washington Heights around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday when the unhinged attacker pounced, police.

“I will kill you!” the suspect suddenly screamed, law-enforcement sources said.

He then pulled out a “Rambo-style” blade with a black handle, stabbed the victim in the chest and also slashed him on the left arm, cops and the sources said.

The knife-wielding menace appeared drunk and was pacing near the victim before he pounced, sources said.

The victim got off the train after the attack and was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said Thursday.

The suspect, who has yet to be identified, stayed on board.
