During his NBA career, superstar forward Scottie Pippen was considered one of the best players in the league, and he was the best teammate Michael Jordan ever played with while on the Chicago Bulls.

Pippen went on to win six NBA titles playing with Jordan in the Windy City, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time while also being considered an exceptional two-way player, excelling on both ends of the floor during his 17 seasons.

Even though Pippen is among the game’s all-time greats, he wasn’t all that fond of how he was depicted in the documentary “The Last Dance,” which was about the Bulls’ dynasty under legendary head coach Phil Jackson.

Pippen was so upset about how he was portrayed that he made his feelings public, bashing Jordan as his teammate, which didn’t sit well with Bulls and NBA fans who revere the legend.

Despite that backlash, Pippen is still making public appearances, including his latest getting some shots up on a basketball court in Mexico, which he posted on his X account.

With Pippen seemingly starting to realize that he may have damaged his legacy by publicly bashing his longtime teammate and the incredibly popular documentary series, it feels like he’s trying to win over fans while embracing “The Last Dance.”

Only time will tell how Pippen will be perceived by the public, but he seems to be trying to repair his image, which is a step in the right direction.
