The Dallas Cowboys’ rocky 1-2 start to the 2024 NFL season has put quarterback Dak Prescott in the spotlight.

As the league’s highest-paid QB, he’s facing intense scrutiny from fans and critics alike.

Recently, Prescott fired back at hecklers, telling them to “jump off if you want to” as he headed to the locker room.

Teammate Micah Parsons has come to Prescott’s defense, empathizing with his struggles.

On his podcast “The Edge with Micah Parsons,” he voiced unwavering support for his quarterback. “I have full belief in this guy,” Parsons declared. “I know what he’s been through.”

Parsons highlighted Prescott’s resilience through injuries and setbacks, confident that he’ll lead the Cowboys to success.

“Not once, in a game, has he given up,” Parsons added. “Him and CeeDee missed the whole training camp. I remember Bosa came back after missing a training camp. He said ‘It took me so long to get back into playing formation. That’s all this is.”

While acknowledging that an earlier connection between Prescott and Lamb would have been ideal, Parsons sees a silver lining.

He believes these early-season hurdles will ultimately strengthen the team for a deeper playoff run.

The 2023 season saw the Cowboys clinch the NFC East with a 12-5 record, only to suffer a disappointing 48-32 Wild Card loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Despite boasting one of the league’s top offenses and defenses, Dallas faltered when it mattered most.

Looking ahead, the Cowboys need to shore up their offensive line to better protect Prescott, fine-tune their passing game, and tighten up their defense against big plays.

Addressing these issues could be the key to turning their season around and living up to their potential.
