Marcus Spears Names The Best Team In The AFC

The Buffalo Bills only needed one half of football to get past the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Josh Allen is on an absolute tear, leading the league in touchdowns despite not even scoring one in the second half of the game.

Clearly, the narrative about Stefon Diggs’ departure hasn’t been much of a factor in real life.

That’s why Marcus Spears believes the Bills are currently the best team in the AFC.

Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he credited Joe Brady for this turnaround.

He claimed that people seemed to forget the fact that they went deep into the playoffs last season despite Diggs not being much of a factor since Brady took the reins of the offense from Ken Dorsey.

Brady, says Spears, has been great for Josh Allen in the sense that he’s let him know that he doesn’t need to be a superhero or do too much on every single play, which had always been an issue with the Wyoming product.

We all knew what he was capable of and the numbers he could put up, but the fact that he hasn’t turned the ball over yet this season should be the biggest talking point.

On top of that, the Bills have played great defense, much better than expected.

They’re not the only undefeated team in the AFC, and everybody will always compare all good teams to the Kansas City Chiefs.

But if they’re not the best team in the conference right now, they might be a close second.
