Stephen A. Smith Says Cowboys Are ‘Trash’ If They Don’t Beat Giants

The Dallas Cowboys’ season could be on the line on Thursday night.

They’ve allowed well over 450 rushing yards in the past couple of weeks, and they haven’t even been able to stay competitive in back-to-back contests.

However, going against the New York Giants might be just what the doctor ordered.

That’s why Stephen A. Smith believes that they would be ‘trash’ if they failed to beat their divisional rivals.

On Thursday’s edition of First Take, the controversial pundit claimed that while he didn’t think this would be another Cowboys blowout like the ones we saw last season, they should most definitely win.

Saquon Barkley is no longer there, and the Giants don’t have a strong running game, so this is the perfect game to show some pride and turn things around in that regard.

The Cowboys’ defense struggled to stop the run under Dan Quinn, and it’s been even worse under Mike Zimmer.

As great a defensive mind as Zimmer is, that has always seemed to be an issue with him.

But with all that has been said about the Cowboys and all the talking Micah Parsons has done since their latest loss, this team cannot afford another loss.

Also, their schedule for the next six weeks is absolutely brutal.

Falling to 1-3 would pretty much end all hopes the Cowboys may have about making the playoffs, and with Dak Prescott being 12-2 in his career vs. the Giants, there’s just no excuse to not get the job done on Thursday.
