The Minnesota Timberwolves changed in a big way on Friday night when they traded away Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks.

They got a couple of big stars in return for Towns and now fans are adjusting to the idea of this new-look team.

ClutchPoints gave them a good glimpse at what the Timberwolves will look like in 2024-25.

They will be led by Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, and Donte DiVincenzo.

The reaction to the team was mostly positive on Saturday morning.

A lot of people said the Timberwolves just got deeper and their roster is stronger than ever before.

“Absolutely dangerous,” one fan wrote.

Other people predicted the Timberwolves could be a 60-win team in the new season, which would be a big accomplishment for them.

They ended last season with a 56-26 record.

Some are concerned about Randle, who has faced his fair share of injuries lately.

These fans aren’t convinced that he will be ready to go when the playoffs roll around and could leave a big void in the lineup.

And others said they don’t expect this team to overtake other foes in the West, such as the Dallas Mavericks, who beat them last season.

The Timberwolves really shook things up with this move and fans are hoping it pays off.

With a short amount of time before training camp and only a few weeks until the start of the season, the team is in a good place.
