Govt Postpones Provincial Holiday on Account Of Urs

SRINAGAR: The government has postponed a holiday scheduled on September 30 for Kashmir Province. The holiday was on account of Urs of Sheikh Noor-ud-Din (RA).

An order released on the official website of Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department (JKGAD) informed about the change. The order reads, “The Provincial holiday on account of Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib, scheduled on September 30, 2024, for Kashmir Province, is hereby postponed.”

The order further states that the fresh date of holiday will be notified separately.
