SRINAGAR: An Army soldier lost his life due to accidental firing from his service rifle in the Kralpora area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, late Tuesday night.
According to officials, the 32-year-old soldier succumbed to injuries sustained from the unintended discharge. Police have initiated investigations into the circumstances surrounding the mishap.
The soldier’s body will be handed over to his family after completion of medico-legal formalities, officials confirmed. (KNT)
