SRINAGAR: The Emile Boutmy Scholarship for the academic year 2025-2026 is a fully funded award provided by Sciences Po in France. It is open to international students from across the globe and offers financial assistance for those pursuing undergraduate, master’s, and PhD studies.

The scholarship can grant recipients up to €19,000 per year, depending on their level of study and specific needs. Students can enrol in any subject offered by the university.

These programmes are available to students who hold a Baccalauréat or its foreign equivalent and culminate in the award of a bachelor’s degree. At the graduate level, Sciences Po offers two-year programmes through its various schools, leading to a master’s degree with a range of professional specialisations.

The programme duration for an undergraduate degree is 3-6 years, and for a master’s degree, it is 1.5-2 years. The application deadline for the master’s programme is December 3, 2024, and for the undergraduate programme, it is February 22, 2025.

Benefits for the Undergraduate Programme:

A tuition grant of €7,300 per year is available for the full three years of the undergraduate programme, along with an additional grant of €5,000 per year to assist with living expenses. In exceptional cases, a scholarship of €19,000 may be awarded to cover all three years of study. The amount of each scholarship is determined by the admissions panels.

Please note that failure to pass the academic year will result in the loss of the scholarship. Additionally, deferring admission after being awarded a scholarship will result in forfeiture of the scholarship.

For the Master’s Programme:

The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to students entering Sciences Po in their first year of study. For the master’s programmes, the scholarship can be granted in one of two forms:
– A grant of €10,000 per year to cover tuition fees for the full two years of the master’s programme, or
– A tuition grant of €5,000 per year for the two-year duration of the master’s programme.

It is important to note that failure to successfully complete an academic year will result in the revocation of the scholarship. Additionally, deferring admission after receiving the scholarship will lead to loss of the award.
