Landmine Blast in North Kashmir Injures Two Army Personnel

SRINAGAR: Two soldiers from the 19th Sikh Regiment were injured in a suspected landmine blast while on patrol in the Gogaldara Jumagand area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

According to official sources, the blast occurred during routine patrolling. Both injured personnel were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident took place along the Line of Control (LoC) in Trehgam at around 3 am. Officials confirmed that a Havaldar and a Naik were injured, and their condition is reported to be stable. There has been no official statement from the army regarding the blast yet.
