SRINAGAR: A tourist died, while another was injured after they slipped while taking photos on Friday at Doodhpathri in the Khansahib area of Budgam district.
The mishap caused injuries to both. A police officer said that at least two tourists were injured after they slipped while taking a selfie in Doodhpathri, Budgam.
He said, one of them was declared dead on arrival, while the other was shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
The dead person was later identified as Abdul Malik (70), and the injured person was identified as Naseema Khatoon (55). Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation. (NVI)
