Coming into Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the season was on the line once again for the Boston Celtics as they tried to stay alive on the road against the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center.

Fortunately for Boston, the ball bounced their way quite literally at the end of the game resulting in an incredible putback by Derrick White as the buzzer sounded, giving the Celtics the win and forcing a Game 7 on Monday night at TD Garden.

It was a rough night, to say the least, for the Heat and their star players, as Miami couldn’t get going even though the team came seconds away from advancing to the NBA Finals to face the Denver Nuggets.

Two players, in particular, struggled on Saturday night, with Heat stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo putting up a forgettable shooting percentage, according to NBA on ESPN.

On Monday night, the Celtics will play host to the Heat, with Butler and Adebayo desperately needing a bounce-back game to avoid making NBA history for all the wrong reasons.

If the Celtics come out on top in Game 7, Boston will be the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-0 series deficit to advance to the next round, which is something the Heat don’t want in the record books, as it could derail any progress the franchise has made this season and threaten to break up the team.

It’ll all be on the line for both teams on Monday in a winner-take-all battle that might live up to the hype in Boston.
