Clevinger entered a 15-day recuperation period on May 18 due to inflammation of his right wrist. He is scheduled to start Friday night’s series opener against the visiting Detroit Tigers.

Andrews returned to the IL for 10 days on May 13 with a strained left oblique muscle and played in Triple-A Charlotte’s four rehab games.

To make room on the active roster, Chicago designated infielder Hansel Alberto and drafted right-hander Jesse Scholtens to Charlotte.
