Apple is kicking off WWDC 2023, where it’s expected to unveil its highly anticipated VR headset. apple It’s also commonly used to preview new software for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Watch.
Then, in the fall, when new hardware such as the iPhone comes out, there’s already an updated software library for those devices and a new operating system ready to roll out.
All eyes will be on whether Apple finally releases the headphones. Analysts and media reports have suggested that Apple may unveil a virtual reality headset that can also show users the real world through a high-performance camera mounted on the device — a concept commonly known as mixed reality.
While virtual reality isn’t yet popular with the average consumer, there’s still a lot of excitement and anticipation about what Apple might launch. If Apple does release a pair of headphones, it would be its first major new product line since the Apple Watch in 2014.
Apple may also introduce updates to some of its other hardware, such as the Mac line of computers that developers use to write software for Apple’s devices.
