Allen, 27, is the first Buffalo player to appear on the cover and joins a club that includes Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.
“Only a small percentage of people have ever touched Madden’s face, so it’s pretty surreal to be on that list now. It’s pretty humbling,” Allen told ESPN. “Think about where I was not so long ago, going from high school with zero offers, into junior college and getting one offer, University of Wyoming, etc., and then fast forward to now.
“If you had told me in high school, I don’t know if I would have believed you back then. It was so surreal. Madden holds such a special place in my heart.”

The two-time Pro Bowl pick ranks second in NFL MVP voting in 2020 and third in 2022.
Madden NFL 24’s release date is August 18.
