The Texas Rangers came into the 2023 season with a chip on their shoulder after losing 94 games in 2022.

Fortified by a revamped pitching staff and a powerful lineup, the Rangers have been nothing short of dominant this season.

With Tuesday’s 6-4 win over the slumping St. Louis Cardinals, the Rangers reached the 40-win mark and moved to 20 games above the .500 mark.

One of their key contributors, former Cardinal Adolis Garcia, hit a home run in the fifth inning.

After the game, Garcia discussed what has been working this season for the Rangers and what they can continue to do in order to keep rolling.

Garcia discussed the Rangers’ current mindset and said that right now, the team is having fun and playing together as one unit.

He even went as far as to describe the team as a family.

Garcia said that the Rangers are doing a good job right now of playing hard and playing together, grinding out each game and having fun in the process.

The Rangers have now won five consecutive games, which is a season high.

They also have secured six straight series victories.

Garcia discussed how the team has been able to overcome their obstacles, pointing out that when something goes wrong, the Rangers are able to find other ways to win ballgames and stay hot.

Texas bumped their lead in the American League West division up to 4.5 games over the defending World Series champion Houston Astros.

The Rangers also have the second-best record in all of baseball.
