Bill Wyman to Appear on New Rolling Stones Album: Report

Bill Wyman will reportedly reunite with the Rolling Stones on an upcoming studio album.

sun Wyman reportedly joined the band at the Los Angeles studio at the invitation of Mick Jagger. The yet-to-be-released album is a tribute to the late Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, who died in August 2021 at the age of 80.

“Bill hasn’t seen the band in years, but he’s always loved Charlie. This record is really a tribute to Charlie, so he couldn’t say no,” a source told sun.

Wyman hasn’t appeared on a Stones album since 1989 steel wheel. Four years later, in 1993, he left the band. He was later reunited onstage with Jagger, Watts, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood on the 50th Anniversary Tour in 2012.

The Rolling Stones’ new album will also feature drum parts recorded by Watts during his lifetime, as well as contributions from living Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

The Rolling Stones’ last new album was their 2016 blues cover album blue and lonely. They haven’t released a full album with all original material since 2005 bigger bang.
