all ingredients needed

That’s all the stuff I used to put together these delicious breakfast sliders. With the simplicity and customizability of this recipe, you can easily switch up flavors. Use fried eggs instead of scrambled eggs, add a little hot sauce, the choice is yours! NOTE: Exact measurements are in the recipe card below.

  • Hawaiian Dinner Rolls: The Hawaiian roll is great on its own, even better piled higher with sausage patties, cheese and scrambled eggs.
  • Egg: I scrambled these for easier preparation. Eggs are a great way to add more protein to these sliders.
  • onion powder: Add saltiness to scrambled eggs.
  • salt and pepper: Season the eggs!
  • american cheese: I like creamy and melted slices of American cheese, but you can also use provolone, Swiss, mozzarella, or cheddar cheese.
  • Small Breakfast Sausage Patties: you can use it precooked Or homemade pies. I like to cook the sausage patties in the air fryer for easier prep.
  • melted butter: As a base for a sauce to brush on top of breakfast sliders.
  • Maple sugar: Gives light sweetness to butter sauce.
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning: The perfect way to add extra saltiness and texture to every breakfast slider!

How to Make Breakfast Sliders

This recipe is super easy and will leave you with the perfect breakfast sandwich. Simply layer all your ingredients and pop your casserole in the oven! Bake for 10 minutes and you’ll be enjoying rich, cheesy flavor.

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the pan: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray an 8-by-8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Independent volume: Using a serrated knife, carefully cut the roll in half lengthwise while trying to keep them together. Try not to separate them. Then place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared pan. Save the top of the roll for later.
  3. To Season Eggs: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Scramble: Scramble hard-boiled eggs in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  5. layer: Spread the scrambled eggs on the bread in the pan, then top with the cheese and sausage patties. Be sure to place the cheese and sausage patty in the center of each roll so they slice evenly.
  6. cover: Place the top half of the roll on top of the sausage patty.
  7. Prepare the butter mixture: Melt butter in a microwaveable bowl. Add everything but maple syrup and bagel seasoning. Then brush the butter sauce evenly over the sandwich.
  8. bake: Cover the pan with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  9. enjoy: Cut into individual sliders and enjoy!

Tips and Variations

Customize your breakfast slider with endless possibilities! Experiment with different cheese flavors, and even add a little of your favorite hot sauce for extra flavor.

  • Add spices: To add a little spice to your breakfast sliders, layer in chopped jalapenos or use pepper jack cheese instead of American cheese.
  • For more protein: Add a layer of ham or cooked bacon to your breakfast sliders for even more meaty flavor!
  • Use spreads: Don’t be afraid to experiment with flavors! Try adding creamy avocado or spicy mayonnaise to take your breakfast up a notch.
  • in advance: Get ready for busy mornings. Prep the scrambled eggs the night before, cook the sausage patties, and shred the cheese, so all you have to do in the morning is assemble and bake.

Store Leftover Breakfast Sliders

These breakfast sliders are best served hot and fresh from the oven. However, if you find yourself with any leftovers (which is rare because they are so delicious), you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. When you’re ready to enjoy them, reheat in the microwave until fully heated or in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes.

I used Morningstar brand sausage patties. They are the perfect size for precooked patties in the freezer section.
