Ways to Customize Your Salad

There are so many different flavors you can add to a red white and blue cheesecake salad. Here are some ideas!

  • Add more fruit: Add fresh raspberries, cherries or blackberries!
  • Add more textures: Add flaked almonds, shredded coconut or acini de pepe. (This will make it taste similar to frog’s eye salad.)
  • Cheesecake Pudding Substitution: If you can’t find it or don’t have it on hand, replace the whipped topping and pudding mix with 8 ounces of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 cups of heavy whipping cream.

Store leftovers and make them ahead

If you have leftovers from the Red White and Blue Cheesecake Salad, cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. It stays put for 3-4 days. If you plan to make this salad ahead of time, I recommend storing the pudding mix and fruit separately until ready to serve.
