Though he has only played in six games thus far, Cincinnati Reds rookie and top prospect Elly De La Cruz has been on another level.

When he was called up last week ahead of the Reds series with the Los Angeles Dodgers, fans and insiders already knew that he possessed incredible power and speed.

The exit velocities on some of his hits were turning heads around the game.

But over the weekend in St. Louis, De La Cruz continued to show off his unique skillset as the Reds took care of business against the slumping St. Louis Cardinals.

Through his first six games, the 21-year-old has posted some very impressive stats, which can be seen in the tweet below.

The game’s No. 4 prospect is 8-for-22 to start his MLB career.

That all adds up to a .364 batting average.

De La Cruz also has picked up three extra-base hits, has scored seven runs, walked five times, and stolen three bases.

He also has recorded the fastest sprint speed on a hit in the Major Leagues this year, covering 31.9 feet per second.

On Saturday, he was told to stop at third base, but ultimately blew through the stop sign and ended up being safe at the plate.

On Sunday, he barely beat out a throw by Paul DeJong to score the go-ahead run for Cincinnati.

De La Cruz also made a claim that he is the fastest man in the world.

So far, he has been able to walk the walk with his unique skillset which includes incredible speed and power.
