Blazers Player Takes Jab At Kevin Durant After Bradley Beal Trade

The Phoenix Suns have officially put together their second superteam in as many years.

Given that the Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton group wasn’t able to get the job done, they’ve now removed Paul from the equation to replace him with Devin Booker.

Unsurprisingly, that also means that Durant will now get to play for yet another superteam, which obviously led to some mockery and criticism on social media.

Notably, that includes even from his own colleagues, as Portland Trail Blazers star Jusuf Nurkic seemingly took a jab at KD for doing the very same thing he did during his days with the Brooklyn Nets.

Durant played next to Kyrie Irving and James Harden in Brooklyn but to no avail.

He also played with James Harden, Serge Ibaka, and Russell Westbrook during their days with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and he didn’t have a ring to show for that.

Durant had to team up with Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson to win his two NBA championships, and the Warriors had already won before him and managed to win again after he left.

Truth be told, there’s a big chance that Durant would never have won a ring if he hadn’t joined the Warriors, and while no one could say he got carried to those two rings, it’s still a bit of a stain in his legacy.

Durant has now played on more superteams than any other star in league history.

Whether he’ll manage to win another ring or not remains to be seen.
