Dani Saurymper of Pacific Asset Management said the world’s population was aging and this was creating significant investment opportunities.

Saurymper manages the Pacific Longevity & Social Change Fund, which not only invests in sectors like pharmaceuticals and insurance companies, but also owns stocks in fitness and nutrition, hygiene and personal care, and even beauty and financials.

The fund hopes to tap “investable themes that have proven commercial viability,” including a “significant opportunity” in discretionary spending by older consumers.

Saurymper to Discuss Stocks, Including His Major Holdings: Pharmaceutical Companies AstraZeneca; fitness apparel company lululemon; Pet supply retailers pets at home; and travel service booking sites reservation network.

Nearly 60% of his fund is invested in large-cap stocks and 58% is listed in the United States.

Saurymper joined Pacific Asset Management in 2021 after holding various roles at AXA Investment Managers, Barclays Investment Bank and Goldman Sachs.
