NFL legend Deion Sanders underwent successful surgery early on Saturday morning.
‘Prime’ had to go under the knife after his physicians discovered blood clots in his groin, scheduling an emergency procedure to solve the issue right away.
Notably, this isn’t anything new for the legendary dual-sports athlete, as he has already had two toes amputated due to similar issues and was reportedly at risk of losing the whole foot.
That’s why countless fans rallied around Sanders and took to Twitter to wish him a speedy recovery after the news broke of his successful surgery.
Prayers to Coach Prime. God got him and will watch over him

Sanders is one of the most well-known, beloved, and respected athletes in NFL history.
He rose back to the public scene after taking over Jackson State’s football program, leading the HBCU to back-to-back Southwestern Athletic Conference titles in 2021 and 2022.
Sanders was now set to take over the University of Colorado, but given his recent health issues, one can only wonder whether he’ll be willing or able to fulfill his contract obligations with the program.
Needless to say, health should always come first and foremost, and he should take as much time as he needs to heal and get back to full strength.
Of course, that scenario would be a massive blow for the program, the fans, and the players, but there’s no way he should prioritize anything over his health after going through so many scares in recent times, especially if he’s still not in the clear about that potential foot amputation.
Get well soon, Prime.
