No One Had a Better Time at Glastonbury Than Paul McCartney

After making headlines last year, Paul McCartney returns to Glastonbury in 2023 as a spectator. By all accounts, he had a miserable time.

McCartney was seen watching several performances over the weekend from the side of the stage. On Friday, he watched a surprise performance by the Foo Fighters. On Saturday, he watched Guns N’ Roses cover Wings’ “Live and Let Die.” On Sunday, he used his phone to film Elton John performing “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”

Marka was also briefly on stage during Saturday’s performance of “The Pretender,” waving to the audience. He hung out backstage with Chrissie Hynde, posed for pictures with Foo Fighters drummer Josh Freese (and Pat Smear), and even enjoyed the sunset with wife Nancy Shevell.

Currently, McCartney doesn’t have a concert of his own on the calendar, but perhaps Glastonbury will inspire him to get back on the road. However, he is preparing to release a demo of The Beatles, which was done with the help of machine learning.
