Analyst Says The Chris Paul, Warriors Deal Is A ‘Perfect Trade’

Everybody around the NBA is talking about the new-look Golden State Warriors, and rightfully so.

The Warriors made a shocking move by trading Jordan Poole to get Chris Paul, who’s definitely not a natural fit for their system.

However, NBA analyst Mark Titum argues this was actually a perfect trade, as it obviously made them a better basketball team.

Titum adds that Chris Paul’s fit is questionable, making this trade ‘sexy’ because people will now get to debate how they’ll sort things out on the team.

Moreover, it’s obvious that there will be some concerns about whether Paul will handle playmaking duties like he’s always done, as he’ll now have to share the ball with Stephen Curry.

Truth be told, it’ll be fascinating to see how Steve Kerr and company figure things out with this new-look roster.

Will Paul be willing to come off the bench and lead the second unit?

If so, he could have a similar role to Shaun Livingston in the early stages of the dynasty, a mid-range master with elite playmaking and defensive skills to give them a big boost off the bench.

If not, it’ll be interesting to see whether Paul is willing and able to adapt to the Warriors’ run-and-gun, pace-and-space offense or if they will drastically change the way they’ve played since Kerr took the reins of the team, which — honestly — doesn’t seem likely at all right now.
